about the album
I Believe A Change
Drummer Alex Silvergold and Snarky Puppy guitarist Bob Lanzetti join forces to create a mix of jazz, funk, and fusion covers on Alex’s debut EP.
Alex explains, “I Believe A Change is an album of music that I love. The focus of this record is on the overall vibe rather than showcasing musical talent. I was honored to have Bob Lanzetti join me to produce the record and bring it to life. The tracks cover a lot of musical ground, from Sam Cooke’s soulful ‘A Change Is Gonna Come’ to Bob Lanzetti’s fusion-based ‘Collapsible Pants.’ I’m really excited to share this with you all.”
